A Canada Export Achievement Award was given in December 2010 to one company in each of these regions:
- Pacific
- Prairies and the Territories
- Ontario
- Quebec
- Atlantic Canada
All eligible exporters were encouraged to enter. All applications were be reviewed by members of an expert judging panel, who selected the candidate from each region deemed to best exemplify exporting leadership. Although the 2010 nomination period has closed, PROFIT Magazine would still like consider your export success story for future coverage. If your organization has demonstrated high achievement in selling products or services outside of Canada's borders, then send an e-mail to profit@profit.rogers.com.
To be eligible for a Canada Export Achievement Award, a company:
Must have generated at least $150,000 and 10% of its revenue in its most recent full fiscal year through the sale of the company’s products and/or services in foreign markets.
Must currently be exporting and have generated export sales in each of its past two full fiscal years
Must have generated sales revenue of less than $30 million in its most recent full fiscal year
Must be headquartered in Canada, registered in Canada and have significant operations in Canada
Must be Canadian-owned
Must be operated independently and not the subsidiary of a larger organization

Judging criteria are as follow:
| The quality and scope of the company’s exporting strategy and practices |

| Volume and rate of growth of the company’s export sales |

| The level of creativity, problem-solving or innovation applied by the company in any aspect of the exporting process |

| Overall financial strength of the company |
